Wpis:Kamil, I don’t know where to begin, when I first met you here at Marymount, you made an awesome impression on me. I remember how excited you were, yet scared at the same time. As with all of us we were insecure to be on our own but none of us could compare to what you were feeling. I remember your distinct smile and lightheartedness since day one. We became friends before we were roommates and I remember how we shared our domestic customs, and culture with eachother. I loved hearing about a place so different then this one, your home, Poland. We would sit around and laugh about all the simple things that we did so differently. Learning about your life in Poland is a memory I will not soon forget, I hope I will be privileged enough to visit there sometime in my life. We became roommates and even closer friends, I love how you would skate to the beach just to watch the waves crash on the shore, it was something that I have seen all my life living in southern California. One of the most valuable things you taught me was not to take things for granted in life, and believes me it is a lesson I will never forget. I respect you most of all for having the courage to make the journey here, and I feel privileged that you have touched my life in the way that you did. I can only hope you are in a better place. Thank you Kamil, and I will remember your memory forever…
…God bless you Kamil…
your friend and roommate,
Micheal Fabian

Wpis:This new is a shcok for me! Only the other day I was going through my pictures and found old picture of my old friends and me in ASW. I found one of Kleik. It was a good one to remember him by. I always thought of him being famous in the future. Kleik was a great guy to know, and who ever didn't know him lost a wonderful chance to know a great guy. I haven't been back to Poland in 4 years, and regret not going. I always loved standing by Kleik when we used to talk to people. He was just as short as me in 8th grade, although he did grow a lot after. But the last time I say him...he was short. I was in the same class as Kleik for 7th grade until he went to the French school. Even after that we were still friends. He was one of a kind. He made things all the better. I am sad and surprised of his death. But I hope he is in a place that is better than the world we live in! GOD BLESS YOU!!! REST IN PEACE!!! Kleik you will ALWAYS be remembered
With love from and old friend-
Amanda Lukie
